Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap integrating AI, quantum computing, and decentralized systems
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in emerging markets
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis to identify disruptive opportunities
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia
- Present technology visions to stakeholders and secure executive buy-in for ambitious projects
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies and emerging technology adoption
- Drive R&D investments toward breakthrough technologies with 3-5 year commercialization horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech research
- Proven track record developing multi-year tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, Web3, or biotech convergence
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate technical trends into business impact
- Executive presence with successful stakeholder management across global organizations
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in technology foresight or innovation strategy
- Experience securing $1M+ R&D budgets for experimental initiatives
