Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise accurately and efficiently on the sales floor or in the warehouse.
- Shelf Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store layout by rotating stock and ensuring products are facing forward.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate powered pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks to move heavy inventory.
- Loss Prevention: Monitor the sales floor to prevent theft and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Customer Support: Assist customers in locating items and answer basic questions regarding product availability.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep storage areas, aisles, and loading docks clear of debris and hazards.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (typically 4:00 AM - 12:00 PM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs), and perform repetitive motions.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability in previous roles.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to verify product counts and ensure pricing accuracy.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Experience: Previous experience as a stocker, warehouse associate, or retail associate is preferred but not required.
