Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and refreshments, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment with precision, speed, and safety.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including the front counter, dining area, and coffee preparation zones.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and responsibly at the point of sale.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient workflow.
- Upsell products and engage with customers to build lasting relationships.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Strong passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different blends and brewing methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
