Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, tea, and cold brew, according to our standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment, including sanitizing workstations and restocking supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries with a friendly smile.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions and handle payments.
- Clean and maintain coffee brewing equipment, grinders, and milk steamers to ensure optimal performance.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Enthusiasm for coffee, tea, and the hospitality industry.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays.
