Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations
- Operate POS systems efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling
- Ensure pristine cleanliness of equipment, counters, and service areas
- Collaborate with team to create seasonal drink menus and promotions
- Source and showcase local pastries and artisanal products
- Train new staff on brewing standards and service protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional coffee preparation experience
- Expert knowledge of espresso machines and brewing techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and guest-first mentality
- Ability to multitask during high-volume service periods
- Food Handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Passion for specialty coffee and local food movements
