Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, tea, and pastries, according to strict quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering inquiries, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
- Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including counters, tables, and restrooms, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via various methods.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing the coffee bar.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and drink recipes.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.
- Enthusiasm for coffee and a desire to learn and grow within the company.
