Responsibilities
- Brew and prepare a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Greet every customer with a warm, friendly smile and provide exceptional customer service.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including espresso machines, countertops, and dining spaces.
- Restock supplies such as milk, syrups, cups, and pastries to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Clean and sanitize equipment according to health department regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right candidate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- A valid food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one.
