As a Barista at The Daily Grind, you will be the face of our brand, crafting the perfect cup of coffee while fostering a warm and welcoming environment. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and a chance to grow within a dynamic hospitality setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and Serve: Expertly brew and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and specialty lattes.
- Customer Experience: Provide friendly, efficient, and personalized service to every customer, ensuring their needs are met with a smile.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including the espresso machine, counter, and seating area.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies, and notify management of shortages.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with baristas and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
- Brand Representation: Uphold our high standards of quality and presentation, including latte art and food plating.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service industry is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and drink recipes.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and able to work weekends and holidays as required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attitude: A positive, team-oriented mindset with a genuine passion for the coffee culture.
