Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and present specialty coffee beverages using espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Maintain pristine cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
- Process payments accurately and efficiently through POS systems
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless operations
- Source and stock premium coffee beans, syrups, and supplies
- Adhere to strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Participate in seasonal menu development and promotional events
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional barista or food service experience
- Proficiency in espresso machine operation and milk texturing techniques
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and flavor profiles
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume settings
- Basic cash handling and POS system experience
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
