Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks while maintaining consistent quality standards
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized beverage recommendations
- Manage cash register transactions and POS system operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and customer areas
- Train new staff on brewing techniques and customer protocols
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow during peak hours
- Source and promote local artisanal products
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience required
- Expert knowledge of espresso machines and brewing techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred
