Responsibilities
- Architect AI roadmaps aligning with 2026 technological horizons and market projections
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing generative AI models for enterprise applications
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, AGI)
- Translate complex AI research into patentable commercial solutions
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for autonomous systems deployment
- Drive partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for pilot projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science/Machine Learning or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years developing production AI systems at scale (Fortune 500 or unicorn startup)
- Published research in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and MLOps
- Proven track record of commercializing AI innovations (3+ exits or products)
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end AI solution development
