- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present future technology frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Author thought leadership publications on technological singularity preparedness
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget for prototyping future technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in futurist methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi techniques)
- Published research on technological convergence points or paradigm shifts
- Experience securing federal grants for advanced research initiatives
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or similar innovation ecosystems
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into executable business strategies
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
