Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, quantum adoption, climate tech) to forecast 2026 industry disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients across tech, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into strategic initiatives
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' reports with data-driven predictions and actionable recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market readiness
- Represent NextGen at global innovation forums and shape the futurist discourse
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario-planning projects
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and foresight frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analytics platforms
- Experience presenting to executive audiences and influencing C-level strategy decisions
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
