Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Define and communicate the long-term technology strategy for the company, specifically focusing on trends expected to dominate the year 2026 and beyond.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a world-class engineering and product team, fostering a culture of creativity, agility, and excellence.
- R&D Oversight: Lead research and development initiatives, evaluating emerging technologies (AI, Quantum, IoT) to determine their applicability to our core products.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and executive leadership to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Innovation Execution: Drive the implementation of pilot programs and proof-of-concepts that push the boundaries of current industry standards.
- Resource Allocation: Optimize engineering resources and budgets to maximize ROI on high-impact projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence, ensuring alignment across all departments.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think long-term and anticipate market shifts; experience with 3-5 year strategic planning is a strong plus.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of modern software architecture, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), and data-driven decision-making.
