Responsibilities
- Brew Excellence: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, adhering to company recipes and standards.
- Customer Service: Greet every customer with a warm smile, take accurate orders, and provide exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Store Operations: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment by sanitizing equipment, wiping down counters, and managing the dining area.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, and supplies; assist in restocking inventory and placing orders when necessary.
- Point of Sale: Process transactions efficiently using the POS system, handle cash and card payments accurately, and make change as needed.
- Cash Handling: Accurately manage the cash drawer, perform end-of-day cash drops, and reconcile daily sales reports.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Passion: A genuine love for coffee and a desire to learn about different brew methods.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with diverse customers and team members.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours), lift up to 25 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and available to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Skills: Basic math skills for cash handling and attention to detail for recipe consistency.
