Responsibilities
- Greet and Welcome: Provide a warm, professional welcome to every guest and escort them to their tables with efficiency and grace.
- Order Management: Take accurate food and beverage orders, relay them to the kitchen/bar team, and ensure all requests are fulfilled promptly.
- Service Delivery: Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and serve food and drinks with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Guest Relations: Anticipate guest needs, handle complaints with poise, and ensure a seamless dining experience from start to finish.
- Upselling: Proactively suggest specialty drinks, appetizers, and desserts to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Cash Handling: Process payments accurately using POS systems and manage all financial transactions responsibly.
- Table Maintenance: Keep tables clean and organized throughout the meal service, reset tables for the next party promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a server or in a similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Professionalism: A friendly, outgoing personality and a positive attitude are essential.
