Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus and provide detailed knowledge of daily specials and ingredients.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Deliver orders promptly while monitoring guest satisfaction and anticipating needs.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a seamless service experience.
- Maintain a pristine dining environment, including sanitizing tables and resetting stations.
- Process payments efficiently and handle cash or credit transactions accurately.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Familiarity with POS systems (Micros, Toast, OpenTable) is a plus.
- Must possess a valid Food Handler's Card or be willing to obtain one.
- Reliable transportation and a positive attitude.
