Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently use forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems to move stock and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system (WMS).
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and Unload:** Monitor equipment for any issues and report maintenance needs immediately to the supervisor.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage and ensure proper packaging standards are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documents.
- Reliability: Demonstrated history of punctuality and dependability in previous employment.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
