Responsibilities
- Receive and Inspect: Unpack incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
- Stocking: Organize and stock merchandise on shelves, racks, and pallets according to established safety and company standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain accurate records.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate handheld scanners, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified).
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the stocking area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- FIFO Compliance: Adhere to First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory rotation methods to minimize waste and ensure product freshness.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work early morning shifts (5:00 AM start) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work history with a proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, retail stocking, or logistics is a plus but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure inventory accuracy and safety compliance.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
