Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and prepare merchandise for shipment using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and ensure stock accuracy within the warehouse.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as required.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect products for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean work area.
- Order Fulfillment: Work efficiently to meet daily shipping and receiving targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience (1+ years preferred) or equivalent military/logistics background.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills for inventory, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and rotating shifts as needed.
