Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during night shifts including vital sign monitoring and medication administration
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidential records
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergency situations
- Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance needs
- Participate in shift handovers and team huddles
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous healthcare experience preferred (CNA, EMT, or medical assistant)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (training provided if needed)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts
- Valid Texas driver's license (if transporting patients)
- Pass background check and drug screening
