Responsibilities
- Delight patients with compassionate care during overnight hours (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Monitor vital signs and document patient responses using EMR systems
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and nursing teams for urgent interventions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Assist with patient mobility and comfort measures throughout shifts
- Prepare detailed shift reports for day staff handovers
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations for emergency coverage
Qualifications
- Current Pennsylvania CNA or Medical Assistant certification
- Minimum 1 year overnight healthcare experience preferred
- Valid BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication skills during high-pressure situations
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during night shifts
- Proficient with EMR systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Reliable weekend availability and punctuality
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper technique
