Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities during overnight hours
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Coordinate with nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment
- Administer prescribed medications under supervision
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare or patient care experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work variable weekend schedules
- Basic computer proficiency for medical record systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
