Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and stock incoming goods while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular cycle counts and identify discrepancies in stock levels.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the evening shift team to meet daily productivity targets.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings and weekends (Shift: 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and punctuality are essential.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the facility in Washington D.C./Virginia.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
