As a Barista at Green Bean Coffee Co., you will be the heart of our café, responsible for brewing exceptional coffee and serving delightful beverages to our valued customers. We offer a competitive hourly wage, flexible scheduling, and a chance to grow within a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and cold brews, according to company recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Cash handling and processing transactions with a focus on accuracy and speed.
- Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary.
- Train new baristas and uphold the company's high standards of service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong passion for coffee and a willingness to learn brewing techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
