Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring they feel immediately welcomed into our dining room.
- Take and process orders accurately through our POS system, ensuring food and beverage preferences are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages with precision and speed, adhering to our high standards of presentation and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas, resetting stations promptly to ensure a seamless flow for the next guest.
- Upsell and recommend specials, appetizers, and beverages to enhance the guest's dining experience and contribute to revenue goals.
- Handle payments efficiently and accurately, resolving any guest inquiries or complaints with grace and professionalism.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth service flow during busy shifts and assist with closing duties.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and articulate information clearly to guests and staff.
- Professional appearance and grooming that aligns with the upscale standards of our establishment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and tipping calculations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina required to stand for extended periods and lift trays or objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Alcohol awareness and knowledge of responsible service practices.
