Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, professional demeanor, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system efficiently and handle guest inquiries with poise.
- Deliver exceptional service by anticipating guest needs and providing recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including resetting tables promptly between seatings.
- Collaborate closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, balancing your till at the end of every shift.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a full-service restaurant setting is preferred but not required for the right attitude.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while maintaining high energy.
- Familiarity with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus.
- Valid Food Handler's Card (or willingness to obtain).
- A valid Server's Permit (OLCC) is required for Oregon residents.
- A positive, customer-first mindset and a team-oriented approach to work.
