Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Present menus, provide detailed knowledge of ingredients and preparation methods, and answer questions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system and relay them promptly to the kitchen.
- Deliver food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high presentation standards.
- Anticipate guest needs, handle requests, and resolve any complaints with a smile and professionalism.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including resetting tables and ensuring adherence to hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service flow during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of standard drink recipes and food items.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays or objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Valid Food Handler's Card or ServSafe Certification required.
- Proficiency with POS systems and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
