Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, high-touch hospitality by greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables.
- Master the menu and wine list to effectively answer guest inquiries and make personalized recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders using our POS system and relay them to the kitchen team.
- Anticipate guest needs throughout the meal, refilling water glasses and checking in on satisfaction levels.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately, ensuring all transactions are closed out correctly.
- Collaborate with bartenders, chefs, and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless service flow.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required by business needs.
- Ability to obtain food handler's certification and alcohol awareness certification (TABC) where applicable.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
