Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they arrive.
- Present menus and guide guests through the culinary offerings with expert knowledge.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
- Clean and set tables according to our high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Upsell items to enhance the guest experience while adhering to company policies.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized service station throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a full-service restaurant preferred.
- Strong knowledge of wine and cocktail menus is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid California Food Handler's Card.
