The Role:
As our Senior SEO Specialist, you will serve as the technical and strategic guardian of our online presence. You will collaborate closely with content creators, developers, and marketing managers to ensure our digital assets are optimized for both users and search engines. Your expertise will directly impact our bottom line by increasing lead generation and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Technical SEO Auditing: Conduct comprehensive technical audits of our website to identify crawl errors, site speed issues, and structural problems that hinder search engine performance.
- Keyword Strategy: Perform in-depth keyword research and competitor analysis to identify high-value opportunities and develop a robust content strategy aligned with user intent.
- On-Page Optimization: Optimize meta tags, headings, image alt text, and internal linking structures to maximize ranking potential for targeted keywords.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using Google Analytics and Search Console, providing detailed monthly reports to stakeholders on traffic growth and ROI.
- Content Collaboration: Partner with the content team to ensure all published material is optimized, engaging, and adheres to SEO best practices.
- Link Building: Develop and execute ethical link-building campaigns to improve domain authority and referral traffic.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably within a fast-paced digital agency or high-growth startup environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog.
- Programming: Basic to intermediate understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to assist developers with technical implementation.
