Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for internal employees and external clients via phone, email, and remote access.
- Ticket Management: Manage and prioritize incoming helpdesk tickets using our CRM software to ensure timely response and resolution.
- System Monitoring: Monitor server performance and network health during evening hours to ensure 99.9% uptime and security.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional technical support and training to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of technical issues, resolutions, and system changes in the knowledge base.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the day-shift team to hand over critical issues and ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; High School diploma with relevant experience is acceptable.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service roles.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Windows and Mac OS troubleshooting, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Availability: Must be available to work evenings (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM) and some weekends as needed.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Problem Solving: Proactive approach to identifying potential system issues before they impact users.
