Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum circuits for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Develop advanced error mitigation and error correction strategies to enhance computational fidelity.
- Collaborate closely with hardware physicists to bridge the gap between theoretical models and physical implementation.
- Conduct research into novel quantum machine learning and optimization algorithms.
- Mentor a team of junior researchers and software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Present technical findings at international conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field with a focus on Quantum Information Science.
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing research or theoretical computer science.
- Proficiency in Python and major quantum software stacks (Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics.
- Strong publication record in top-tier conferences (e.g., QIP, APS, NeurIPS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
