Responsibilities
- Lead multi-disciplinary research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuro-interfaces) and their societal impact by 2026
- Develop strategic innovation frameworks for Fortune 500 clients seeking future-proof business models
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and scenario-planning models for C-suite executives
- Curate and host Horizon's annual Future Forward Summit, convening 500+ global thought leaders
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio, allocating resources to high-potential moonshot projects
- Mentor a team of 5 futurists and design researchers while fostering cross-industry partnerships
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership on disruptive technologies (IEEE, Harvard Business Review)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains with proven commercialization experience
- Exceptional data visualization skills using tools like Tableau or D3.js for complex trend analysis
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ implemented future-strategy projects generating >$10M revenue
- Fluency in Spanish or Mandarin for global stakeholder engagement
