Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, sociology, and economics to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year vision aligned with company objectives
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and executive teams to integrate future insights into actionable plans
- Author thought leadership content and represent the company at global innovation forums
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design and facilitate scenario-planning workshops for C-suite stakeholders
- Monitor and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial viability
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into market-ready initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning, system dynamics, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic frameworks implemented in enterprise environments
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
