Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends, market shifts, and socio-economic indicators to forecast disruptive innovations through 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (AI, quantum computing, biotechnology) and present to executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking methodologies across product and engineering teams
- Build and maintain a network of industry experts, academics, and startup founders to identify emerging opportunities
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable business strategies and investment recommendations
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global innovation forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish organizational frameworks for continuous trend scanning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing disruptive technologies (AI, Web3, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, Business, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Portfolio of published foresight work or implemented innovation initiatives
- Experience leading global teams across multiple time zones and cultures
