Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology and societal trend forecasts using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and data modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into strategic product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Produce high-impact reports and executive briefings on disruptive forces affecting our industry and adjacent sectors
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts to validate hypotheses and identify blind spots
- Champion a culture of strategic foresight across the organization through training, mentorship, and embedded consulting
- Quantify risk/opportunity scenarios using predictive analytics and simulation modeling for 2026 market conditions
- Represent the organization at global forums on emerging technologies and future-focused policy discussions
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex concepts to C-suite audiences through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or long-term trend analysis
- Experience leading global teams and managing cross-cultural stakeholder ecosystems
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational strategy through futures-oriented initiatives
