Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 2026 technology roadmaps for quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech applications
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging disruptions and market opportunities
- Design and execute pilot programs for breakthrough innovations with Fortune 500 partners
- Present strategic foresight frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through grant writing and investor relations
- Mentor junior futurists and build an innovation ecosystem across academia and industry
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: quantum computing, biotech convergence, or neuro-interfaces
- Executive-level presentation skills with 50+ keynote presentations at global forums
- Published author in peer-reviewed futures or innovation journals
- Fluency in futures methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning, backcasting)
- Validated ability to secure $5M+ in R&D funding or grants
