Responsibilities
- Execute complex espresso extraction techniques and milk artistry to perfection
- Develop seasonal beverage menus incorporating premium local ingredients
- Mentor junior baristas and maintain quality standards
- Manage inventory of specialty coffee beans and equipment
- Deliver personalized customer experiences with product knowledge
- Collaborate with roasters on quality control initiatives
- Train staff on new brewing technologies and sustainability practices
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional barista experience in specialty coffee
- Advanced latte art certification (e.g., SCA Espresso Skills)
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, processing methods, and flavor profiles
- Proven ability to thrive in high-volume, premium service environments
- Strong inventory management and POS system proficiency
- Food Handler certification required
- Experience developing seasonal coffee menus
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings
