The Role:
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing high-performance 2D graphics solutions directly in the browser. You will collaborate closely with our design and product teams to turn complex concepts into fluid, scalable, and visually stunning web applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design and implement high-performance 2D web applications using Canvas, SVG, and WebGL technologies.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps animations and seamless user experiences across all devices.
- Collaboration: Partner with UI/UX designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect code.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following modern best practices and architectural patterns.
- Debugging: Troubleshoot complex rendering issues and cross-browser compatibility challenges with precision.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making regarding tooling and library selection.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging web standards and experimental technologies to push the boundaries of what is possible in the browser.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a focus on 2D graphics.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
- Graphics: Deep understanding of the DOM, Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and WebGL.
- Frameworks: Experience with modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Performance: Demonstrated ability to optimize heavy graphics rendering and minimize layout thrashing.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Tools: Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
