Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize complex 2D and 3D rendering engines for web browsers using WebGL and OpenGL ES.
- Write high-performance GLSL shaders for advanced visual effects, lighting, and physics simulations.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and UI/UX designers to integrate 3D assets seamlessly into responsive web applications.
- Optimize rendering pipelines to ensure 60fps performance across various devices and network conditions.
- Maintain and upgrade the company’s internal graphics library and toolset.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex graphics-related issues in cross-browser environments.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in computer graphics, WebGL, or 3D software development.
- Deep understanding of the WebGL API, Three.js, Babylon.js, or Pixi.js.
- Proficiency in GLSL (OpenGL Shading Language) and writing custom shaders.
- Strong programming skills in C++, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Experience with physics engines (Cannon.js, Ammo.js) and particle systems.
- Experience with model loading formats (GLTF, FBX, OBJ) and texture compression.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
