Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error mitigation techniques for quantum hardware scaling
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum applications
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals/conferences
- Secure government and industry partnerships for quantum adoption
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing fundamentals
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in high-performance computing and parallel processing
- Experience with quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, ion trap)
- Strong background in linear algebra and probability theory
