Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction codes to enhance qubit stability
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate software with quantum processors
- Lead research publications in top-tier journals and conference proceedings
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
- Participate in cross-functional projects with AI and cryptography teams
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction principles
- Experience with high-performance computing environments
- Strong analytical skills with ability to tackle unsolved problems
