Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for computational optimization problems
- Develop error correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into classical architectures
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Lead quantum simulation projects using IBM Q and Rigetti systems
- Mentor junior researchers and establish best practices for quantum software development
- Secure research funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum assembly languages
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and decoherence management
- Experience with superconducting qubit manipulation or trapped-ion systems
