Job Description
Join Nexus Quantum Solutions at the forefront of computational revolution. We're seeking a Quantum Computing Infrastructure Engineer to architect, deploy, and maintain next-generation quantum systems that will redefine industries by 2026. This role sits at the intersection of quantum physics, high-performance computing, and advanced networking in our Austin R&D hub.
You'll collaborate with Nobel laureates and industry pioneers to build fault-tolerant quantum processors while pioneering cryogenic control systems and quantum-classical hybrid architectures. If you're passionate about solving problems deemed impossible by classical computers, this is your opportunity to shape the future.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cryogenic quantum processor control systems with sub-millisecond latency
- Architect quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for enterprise applications
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Lead integration of quantum accelerators with classical HPC infrastructure
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-time financial modeling and drug discovery
- Establish quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic systems
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum computing principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in high-performance computing and distributed systems
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
- Certification in cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
