Responsibilities
- Architect quantum error correction systems for fault-tolerant computing
- Design hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists and software engineers
- Develop quantum software SDKs for enterprise integration
- Validate quantum supremacy benchmarks against classical supercomputers
- Secure patents for novel quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic processors
- Security clearance preferred for government-funded projects
