Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and simulation applications
- Lead development of error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum acceleration into neural networks
- Design quantum-classical hybrid computing architectures for enterprise solutions
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Mentor researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and statistical mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum processors
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, LDPC, etc.)
