Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for commercial applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve optimization problems at scale
- Lead quantum error correction protocol development for 100+ qubit systems
- Create quantum software frameworks compatible with major hardware platforms
- Collaborate with physics teams to translate theoretical models into deployable systems
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography implementations
- Mentor junior quantum engineers and publish research in peer-reviewed journals
- Drive quantum technology roadmap alignment with 2026 commercialization goals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 8+ years experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and simulators
