Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-resistant cryptographic systems for enterprise applications
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical computing infrastructures
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant quantum operations
- Create roadmaps for quantum computing scalability and commercial deployment
- Mentor cross-functional teams in quantum algorithm implementation
- Contribute to quantum security standards development with NIST
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years hands-on experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published research in quantum cryptography or quantum algorithms
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (AWS Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for classified projects
