Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and connectivity
- Develop quantum algorithms for cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and institutional investors
- Author white papers on quantum supremacy applications for industry 4.0
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and topological computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on quantum hardware or algorithms
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of delivering quantum computing prototypes for enterprise applications
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Experience with superconducting and photonic quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ research grants from NSF or DARPA
- Strong background in machine learning for quantum system optimization
